Modern Indigenous & Environmental Art by Kieren & Chloe

Connecting, learning, blossoming
-
We are a family art collective based in South East Queensland (Gadigal, Jarowair & Western Wakka Wakka country).
Kieren (Wiradjuri) is an Indigenous artist and primary school teacher. Chloe is an artist, lawyer-in-training, and Yurali’s business manager.

“Yurali” is a Wiradjuri word, meaning “blossom of Eucalyptus”. We chose this name to represent our family’s connection to country. We are constantly learning and growing.
-
Art is a vessel through which we can gather and share knowledge. We started painting as a means to connect with country. By sharing our art with the world, we hope others will be inspired to learn more about our land’s rich First Nations history and care for country.
